Final Journey

So, it's been a while since we last wrote here. But there has not been much to write about. The mechanic we found this summer turned out to never have time to help us with the car. So we finally pulled the plug. And found a new place to do the stuff. Now, they turn out to be a lot more reliable, and the engine change should be almost done buy now.


In the meantime, we've decided that we need to take the car to Norway. We need the experience of the long drive, and the packing of the car needs to bee done a bit over time. Adding to it is that Per Christopher and myself needs to get more hands on the car. But that means we need a place to work on the car in November an December. Which means we need weather protection. 


None of us know a garage big enough to work on the car, but some friends, Mike and Christie, offered us to put up whatever we like on their old corral, that they're not using. 


So this weekend Per Christopher an I started on cleaning the corral and making a tarp tent to go around the car.


This place is great, but I can see this uphill being a problem later when we want to take the car away from the farm. But we can always get some heavy machinery to pull us up, so i figure it should be ok.
