It's been a while since we've posted here. Since the care came to Norway in the beginning of december, we've used all available time working on it.

After at few test trips, we took it down the hill to our tent-garage. The hill is so steep, so it was pretti much a one way tour until we get help up again.

We then started tearing down the interior of the car. It put up at big fight, beeing considerable more sturdy than we thought. Wich is both bad and good. It made it harder to tear down, but we can reuse a major part of the internal frame.

And we got at big laught when we found a mice nest under the floor. Althoug it have been desertet for some time.

The rebuilding then started. We have splitt the back in two. In the front 2/3 of it, we've put in a single back seat, which wil serve as a resting seat for the guy not driving or navigating. We've also made room for one bed here, which wil be one of our camping beds in the desert, and storage on the road. Undernith it is room for jerry cans.

Behind the seat an bed we've put up a wall, and behind it we've made room for two spare tyres.

On the roof, we've made a custom roof rack, with a custom coffin that folds out to a platform. This will be out roof tent stand.

After makin all this, we called Lars, a friend of Per and Kristian, and he came with his 4x4 LandCruiser to pull us up the hill. We were quite nervous about this, the hil beeing steep. But it turned out that with the help of lars we made it on the second atempt.

After this we started packing the car. The car can look quite roomy, but in fact it is prety crampy right now. We got 8 20 litres jerry cans stored in there, 5 water tanks of 10 litre, all our lugage and camping gear etc. But whats taking most room is in fact the tyres. We have 4 extra tyres in the car in europe. And at totale of 6 tyres inside, which all are around 75 cm in diameter and 24 cm wide takes a lot of room.

Since we're driving from Norway, we need winter tyres on the car, and they are no good in Sahara. And vice versa for the tyres we're going to use down there. We might also need to rethink our packing in Krakow.
